Easier to make the NFL playoffs

NFL
32 teams, 12 spots
Win 4 team division: spot guaranteed

College
128 teams, 4 spots
No guarantees (unless your unbeaten power 5)

God LSU fans are the gift that keeps giving. 2011 broke them forever lol...So much anger, or is it sexual frustration ?

This is some serious melting. Saban gets his team in the playoff for the fourth straight year and it's "but....but....but....the NFL"

There isn’t a CFB playoff committee in the pros.
You don't need one when there is little focus on the regular season aside from winning schit divisions and making the playoffs. It's why the Panthers (7-8-1) and Saints (7-9) get in with sub-500 records at the expense of more deserving teams, and the back half of the season blows for the best teams as they rest starters for the playoffs.

I prefer keeping regular season important, playoffs small, and best teams in.

Cam was a coordinator not a head coach. You missed the point of that.

Nick is making $10m/yr chasing the greatest coach of all time (Bear Bryant). He's got the best facilities and the best recruits. Assistant coaches are begging to work for Saban to get it on their resume. Why the frick would he leave for the NFL where it's only about getting a great QB?

Moral victory? Anyone with a brain could see Saban was outcoached. Yes LSU lost because the players didn’t execute. I know you inbred turds worship Saban which you should. Not because he is a good coach but because he is a great used car salesman.... recruiter

it didn't take long for this coonass to overheat!...hey man, you're dripping off the bread!

He has proven he is average against good teams and in order to win a NC now he has to play 2 good teams. It's why he's 33% in the playoffs and likely 25% after this year.

man, it's hard for any team to win 2 in a row against this kind of competition. 4 teams in, 25% is getting your share.

general point is well taken, though. saban is not a great on field coach. recruiting, preparation, motivation, etc. is where he excels.
