I see people say that Saban is a Democrat and is “pro-Hillary” but I’ve never seen evidence of that. Can someone point me to where he has said that?

To be honest (and to bring this thread back around to SEC sports), I believe Saban is too busy with his job to worry much about politics. I think he's a head coach first, and other decisions he makes follow that.
For example, I'm betting he's thinking he doesn't really want to go into most of his recruits'/players' homes with a MAGA hat on.

My OP wasn’t meant to go in the direction of politics.
I was leaning more in the light in the loafers direction.
