To bad he couldn't win the one game he played in that mattered.
And couldn't seem to stop UCF from their National Championship.

He has a chance to be top 10 next year. Big difference in top 10 money and end of the 1st round money.
Looks like you're the one who isn't too smart.
"End of the 1st round"...
like, say, the New Orleans Saints? You're telling me Stidham would rather get drafted by Cleveland just to get a bigger draft day contract, instead of getting groomed as heir-apparent to Brees? And make no mistake, if Payton thought he was worth it, he'd snap him up.

Yeah he sucked VS LSU

So you lost 4 games with an NFL 1st rounder playing QB?

He's a good one for sure. He impressed me VS. Bama. He should be excellent this year for the war eagles.

To be fair, Clemson and LSU were blown because of Malzahns ineptitude calling plays, and the way UCF played I'm not sure Bama would've beat them that day either.

Dude, even I don't follow any Auburn players on Instagram.... You may have a problem.

What? Auburn played as flat as a team could play (circa bama vs utah)...lost the turnover battle by 2 including a pick 6 and we were still driving to tie when our oline went swiss cheese. UCF was average and beat an Auburn team giving below average effort.

Partly because UCF played as electric as any team could play and came out and hit us in the mouth right away and kept doing it the whole time.
Yes, we played like shite that game, but if you don't think UCF also played out of their minds then we must have seen different games.

Stidham has a strong arm. Throws the deep ball very well. His problem area, that lots of qb’s struggle with,is being accurate when under pressure. If he can improve this part of his game he can be one of the first qbs taken when he enters the draft.

I don’t get this forum sometimes.
One of the best posters, BowlJackson - takes the time to build a narrative about the best QB in the SEC (even including pictures) and it gets 30 downvotes?
You people are insufferable.

I don't see it.
I watched him against Georgia (twice), Alabama, Ole Miss, MSU, LSU, Clemson, and UCF last year. Granted, that's a limited sample size.
He looked really good when there wasn't much pressure. He seemed to melt and make really bad decisions under pressure. NFL QBs are almost always under pressure. I can't see him being successful in the NFL, unless he gets better at that.
Of course, I haven't played football in almost 15 years now, I was never great, and I'm no talent scout. This is just my opinion, and I've been wrong before. I won't cry if I'm wrong again.
Best of luck to Jared Statham.

TEGA,Harrell and Horton started last year....we return 3 of 5 starters
Posted on 4/20/18 at 10:22 am to BowlJackson
If Josh Allen can complete 55% of his passes, go 6-6 in the fricking Mountain West, and still be a top5 pick, then I have no problem with this
Give me Stidham over Allen and Rudolph because there is actual evidence that he made Auburn better than they would have been

Yeah I'm not as concerned as others about these positions...Center is our real concern. We have no experience there and several injuries.
