If they go to college they can’t play that season in the NFL? Isn’t that the point of their decision?
If they are saying this precludes them from ever going to the NFL then that’s a different discussion

Yea. If they couldn't make a practice squad. Pretty rare for an udfa get picked up mid season. Usually old vets that are rehabbing and dont have a team are brought in

Can’t sign to NFL teams in any capacity. Probably threw their shot away at the pros for Lane.
