So Auburn can pay players and still lose 90 percent of the recruiting battles to Alabama. However, the fact that Alabama loses even 1 recruiting battle proves they arent cheating.
I guess that kind of logic makes perfect sense to a typical bammer tard

Solid reading comprehension. I'm saying that if Bama is cheating then everyone else is as well. Nowhere in my post did I say that Bama is not cheating.
I like the orange and blue flavor to this straw man argument.

This is such a played out topic.
Who the hell cares? Seriously. What are Auburn and LSU fans hoping to accomplish by diminishing the accomplishments ofAlabama players in the NFL? The majority of them beat your team's arse while they were in college and that is good enough for me.
This topic has been cover ad naseum so many times and the conclusion always results. Does Alabama have NFL busts? Sure. Do they have more than others in sheer number? Sure.
At the end of the day though, the percentage of players that are busts from Alabama is no greater than that of any other school. Alabama just has a lot more heralded players because of the attention our program has received and the level of success the program has reached over the past several years.
The draft is an inexact science. People much smarter than me have lost their jobs over poor draft decision.
Anyone that tells you they have it figured it out is lying to you or themselves.

And at the end of the day, if a 5* recruit comes to Alabama, wins a championship here as an All-American, and is then a bust in the NFL, that says far more about the organization and coaching staff they were drafted to than it does about the Alabama program.

If you think Alabama being 4-3 against Auburn under Saban is an arse beating, I would hate to see your take on Alabama being 4-8 against Auburn over the last 12 years

All of the guys mentioned in this thread beat Auburn's arse at one point or another. I don't think any college player gets 7 years of eligibility so I'm not sure why 4-3 is relevant to any individual player.
I should have figured that would be your take away from my post.

Yeah, I seriously doubt the article holds even a sliver of truth. The majority of players drafted have had good careers.
Only with the RB's can such a claim even be made really. And that is currently on shaky ground honestly with Ingram finally getting more than a few carries in a pass happy offense, and Richardson is seemingly on the way up. And of course, Lacy tore things up as a rookie.
So basically, the article is - Trent Richardson hasn't lived up to expectations.

We can take solace in the fact that regardless of what Richardson does from here on out, he'll never be as bad as Jamarcus Russell.

Was BR boycotted in 2010?

We've been hearing this kind of talk for years. Still, really good HS players with plenty of options keep coming to Alabama (at a higher rate than just about anybody) and Alabama keeps putting a lot of highly drafted players in the NFL (at a higher rate than just about anybody). People allegedly keep saying this, but when the rubber hits the road neither the players with NFL aspirations nor the NFL execs doing the drafting seem to be taking it to heart.
Maybe that will change. However, there are a lot of Alabama players doing really well in the NFL right now, so maybe that will trump the scuttlebutt from unnamed NFL exes. We will see.
I like how this thread went 6 pages and only one person responded to this post, and it was a gump. If any one else would like to try their hand at some sort of response to this I eagerly await your post.
Sorry 8 pages.

Also, ask Saints fans what they think of Mark Ingram
I actually have some hope he'll put it all together. He's been our best back this year when healthy. Great runs last night Vs. Carolina.
