Yeah you’re right, he only threw for 3000 yards in 10 games with no help from the run game...

You actually think he is an elite QB ? He is middle of the pack in the SEC and the SEC had some QB issues this year.

Georgia replaces 9 offensive starters, is breaking in a new QB, and has to face Auburn and Bama from the other side and those games are before the WLOCP

We replace the same amount of starters as UF and the only posistion group you have an advantage is QB and TE

You have more expirence at OL but we have more talent.

Plus you still have CTG as your DC

Go on and list the qbs ahead of him since you think he’s “middle of the pack”.

Trask is good. He is easily Top 4 QB going into next year - he’s not elite.

As I have stated and this poster you have answered, Gators are better than Dawgs at a grand total of two positions out of 22.

Granted, having an advantage at QB is the one position that helps equal out a talent disadvantage, but it won’t be enough. Very good chance UGA offense is better this year than last with some scheme and coach changes - if that happens, Gators will lose again.

SIAP

By the time you play UGA in the season, their "new guys" are pretty experienced, and some of the position battles have been worked out.

If they played first or second game of the season, I would consider giving UF the edge.

That means that UF will miss the playoffs at 12-1.

Is that really set up nicely?

Let's update this post.

Joe Brady leaving LSU further helps UF next season.

Just beautiful.

Two really tough games vs Georgia and LSU(one at home as well)
Four could be tough games but we are a better team against UK, @Tenn, @ Ole Miss and South Carolina
Three possibly hard but unlikely games with FSU, Missouri, and Vandy

Beautiful

That's a tough out regardless, but it doesn't hurt if he leaves.

Idc who our QB is, LSU struggles in the swamp. Definitely think UF will be favored. Looking forward to it

Oh of course. LSU and Georgia are toss up games, we may even be slight underdogs depending on seasons start for the three. Still only makes it less rough.

Pretty sure Gata fans were telling us this was the year.

Burrow is obviously the bigger hole but Brady will also
be missed.

UT and OM will be interesting. Not sure of Kiffen's offense but I guy like Plumlee can present issues to any defense.

Florida is set up to make a run. With all the QB turnover in the conference and the favorable schedule compared to uga. Whether they take advantage is another story.

Anyone who denies that they are set up to make a run is just blind.

Actually most of us were pretty spot on with our preseason predictions. We thought we had a chance at the East, and we did. We thought anywhere from 8 wins to 11 wins was possible. Overall most Gator fans said 9-3/10-2 type season with outside chance of better if the Oline was good.

It wasn't.

Most of us were however wrong in beating Georgia, that is correct. Next year is not this year though, and you have just as many question marks, if not more. The whole offense for Georgia is a big question mark. Like...all of it. Literally.

Going into the year it is very fair to assume Georgia has the better defense, Florida the better offense. May change, but it's a fair assumption. We will see how defense for UF and offense for Georgia is next year. Just guessing at this point.

LSU and Georgia beat you again. It’s just how it is man. Just like the Sun shines yellow in the sky and the rain will get you wet. Accept your role. It’s not that bad though, you still will beat every other team you play.

What exactly do you mean by "run?"

Sorry,I don't see any type of Urban or Spuurier type "run"

Why don't you win a division or beat UGA before you start talking about a run?

How it is? We literally beat you last year. UF vs LSU is always a close, good game. Considering we gave you a pretty strong fight this season(two red zone turnovers the only difference, and we were ahead in the third). Not seeing why you should be so highly confident you walk in and win at the Swamp next season.

I’m not, lol. I’m just trolling you. The swamp sucks.

With Todd Grantham at DC it will be tough.

Oh STFU! Venables just got his arse kicked by LSU worse than we did and he had better players as a unit and he was one of the guys ya'll always brought up as a replacement.
