No they don’t. The SEC IS professional football now. The NFL doesn’t play college teams to tune up with. All SEC schools should all be playing power 5 conference opponents.

What good does playing Arkansas pine bluff, Chattanooga, FURMAN, and Nicholls State do other than give fans like you the ability to throw your chest out by beating up on the school if the blind.

Makes no sense. Does Pine Bluff get you ready for Alabama? Good Lord.

No, the truth is - the SEC is just facilitating its members to bank some fake victories so they can look relatively better than other conferences at year-end.

What I don't get is that SEC fans tend to support it. Do you want some football, or do you just want to feel good about yourself? Pretty sad if it's the latter.

But I'll compromise -

9 conference games
2 OOC Power-5
1 OOC non Power-5

That's the best I can do.

Michigan
Oklahoma St
Wisconsin
Miami
Notre Dame
Clemson
Virginia Tech
NC State
Florida St
Georgia Tech
Arizona St
Louisville

Georgia plays 2 of those teams. LSU plays zero. Nobody cares about college teams from California. Not even Californians care about college sports.

Why did you alter the list by removing USC and UCLA? People are far more interested in them than Louisville and GT.

UGA faces mighty Tenn Tech. Once known as the University of Dixie (would be cool if they still were).

The campus looks nice

Wisconsin, TCU, Arizona State, Oregon State were all respectable teams when Miles scheduled them first game. Washington in 2009 & 2012 weren't too bad either.

Now I remember the year we beat Oregon St thanks to Alex Serna!!--- we still had Saban that year

University of Dixie

That wouldn't fly in 2024. There was a Dixie State University which was pressured to change their name ~ 2021

It also is a step towards bowl eligibility which benefits the entire conference.

We had Notre Dame as our game in 2020 but it was cancelled because of COVID. We had a game against Michigan scheduled a few years ago that they backed out of. We have okie state next weekend end who are ranked.

We schedule who will play us. We even played texas before they joined the conference as our cupcake too, btw.

Leave us out of your crybaby thread.

It's not that bad. Arkansas/Oklahoma State, Miss State/Arizona State and Auburn/California are decent matchups. Also, USF played bama very close last year.

There are evenly matched games galore next week. Just not very many between top teams.

You support playing wimp-arse night schools so you can be bowl eligible. And *I’m* the cry baby?

Texas will make men out of this conference before it’s all done. Back door W’s are for lightweights.
