Im sorry, I dont consider teams playing ineligible players unknowingly, is the same thing as a staff member being a part of funneling money to an athlete

Auburn would have played those two players had Person not been indicted.

Great. Look, Auburn having a staff member implicated separates them from others in this situation.

That is why I asked my question, was this about players taking money from agents, or was it about us doing what Auburn did.......

So, I guess the FBI did us a favor by indicting Person before the season began?

Absolutely. I said it earlier. If you've got to be in this, it is going to be FAR better to have found out about it in September 2017 instead of March 2018.

So, who funneled the money to the LSU guy? Might want to wait for that information before making such a generalization. You're throwing one big-assed rock inside a really nice glass house.

Agreed.

Think he's still a first round pick?

Probably do a year in China or something?

The agent? That was easy

Not really. As of now, we are in a different boat than auburn. If we get a staff member implicated later, than we can join Auburn's boat and help with the rowing

It was an agent's money that went to the Auburn players too.

Key point is as of now. Everything I've seen strongly suggests Miller tried to maintain a couple degrees of separation between himself and the bag men. In each case, the actual player contact was done by someone with close ties to the program.

It's possible he operated differently depending on the situation, but I suspect the people that actually delivered the cash to every player on that list was someone welcome in their respective locker rooms.

Absolutely! Getting it out on the front end (Sept) allowed AU the time to investigate internally and bench the players involved. The timing was ideal for any team implicated last summer.

People keep saying this, but this is evidence of a different meal with a different agent. This isn't the info that bama sat Sexton over.

Actually it's the same info...Even if it's a separate meal the same procedure would work.
