Why??
UF-FSU, UGA- GT, USC-Clemson, Kentucky-UoL all Thanksgiving weekend.
No reason OSU-OU can’t be as well… I’m sure the Conference promised OU that, as long as OSU still wants to play.

LSU and Arkansas used to play the Friday after thanksgiving I say we do that

Pretty much my thoughts. As much as you would have expected LSU to dominate those games, we didn’t. I remember them being some very entertaining games…just not on Friday please.

Hadn't happened often but a Thanksgiving Day game is not for BAMA, please. We've done it and I was there in 1992 at Legion Field for the BAMA vs Barner extravaganza.
The last game Pat Dye would coach for the barners. The game was great and we sent him off into retirement with a 17-0 win and then won the NC title vs Miami later. But the 300-mile trip home was hell. Forgot everything surrounding food was closed for the Holiday. Ended up eating slim jims at a local 7-11 to make it. Thanksgiving Day is for watching TV.

Tennessee should play Vandy that week. That game has turned into a barnburner of a rivalry lately.

If Kansas does not get into the Big 10 they will be begging us to play on Thanksgiving weekend. I do not believe it was the football staff that did not want to play us after we left the Big 12. It was Bill Self who runs that athletic department. He did not want our universities every to step on an athletic field or court again.

Plus A&M and Tennessee's programs are at about the same level despite A&M doing better recently.

I know this is rivalry week but I don’t think the OU vs OSU will continue as eithers last game. If that becomes true. I would absolutely love to start a new rivalry with OU
It would get great ratings because most years it would pit 2 potential top 10 teams .
LSU vs OU in my prediction are gonna be must see TV
I think OU is gonna be a real player in SEC. And are the real winners thru expansion. Presuming they keep tradition of Good coaching hires. Their defense will improve as I see them finishing top 10 recruiting classes with SEC caliber players on Defensive wanting to go there initially for quicker playing time.
I look forward to our games and even though geographically it doesn’t scream rivalry, Our past playoff games and future wars should be awesome.

I would love for Bedlam to survive and the Border War to come back.
But what is more likely? OSU and KU both being on board? or one or both opting out? can't have one game without the other, IMO.
