Don't the usually also broadcast ESPN+ content on an SECNetwork alternate?

I believe it would remove most Alternate games and move it to +...
It is a major money grab once again, which so is going to ABC from CBS. Never enough.
Whelp!

The $70 million figure comes from the increase in value of the SEC Network on top of this new tier one deal
Now that ESPN owns all the SEC content, they can boost the value of the SECN by putting what were CBS-level games randomly on there.
Think of LSU-Bama or Georgia-Florida being on the SEC Network and then think about how much more ESPN could squeeze out of cable companies to make sure customers keep access to the SEC Network and therefore those games. The conference gets half of that added value.
Basically the SEC is trading exposure for more money. It’s certainly a risk, and might backfire if streaming giants like Netflix or Amazon buy rights to other conferences at even higher prices. It’s never a good idea to be the first one to the table and we should have let the Big 10 make their big deal first, but at this point the SEC Network had the conference locked in.

Bottom line CBS had a sweet deal with the SEC that had to change.
It comes at a perfect time too with the money sec teams lost this past season and into next year.
Good thing is there will be a hoops tourney in some format and hopefully a more normal football season with packed stadiums, the two sports that foot the bill for everything else.
