It isn't that. To move far up in the polls, teams ranked ahead of you have to lose or you have to beat a high ranked team.
Neither happened yesterday. Right now I don't see a team above us that we should be ranked ahead of based on schedule so far, being at 15 AP seems about right.

It is insane that to be ranked 19th and 20th is only good for 7th in the SEC. And people say the SEC sucks this year.

Does anyone know the last time state was ranked 15th in the AP?

Is Oregon State's schedule much easier than Notre Dame's to date?
I don't OSU can go much farther without tripping up but it seems that just like ND they've played mostly fringe of the Top25 teams.

Seems an effort to keep some non-SEC teams propped up to try and NOT have two SEC teams playing for BCSNC
