Seriously has the $EC money been worth it? I’m not hating on y’all, I love college football but this expansion crap is out of control and the $EC west is basically the SWC/Big 12 in a few years

Too dull with all that lack of color but have an up vote for the effort!

Yes, a thousand times yes! There simply is no comparison between Big12 poor and SEC poor!

I love the competition, but outside of 2013-14 we’ve been out of our league. As I’ve said before, Big 8 was the only conference where we were a better fit in and they aren’t coming back.

No
Love this site and have had the opportunity to meet a lot of great fans that I would never have met due to the SEC invite. But, regionalism and traditional rivalries are what drive high school and college sports, at least they should be, not the almighty dollar. Yeah, it’s great to occasionally see a traditional state and national H.S. Power go across state lines or a few states over and play a big time game, but it doesn’t compare to going across town and beating your neighbors.
We sold our soul to the devil, unfortunately there’s a lot of that going around.

Weedy beat A&M at USC too. He gets around.

When they look back at what really took down the USA as a country, #1 will be MBA's and Private Equity groups.
