LOL

I am not worked up about it.

You are the one who helped transform a thread about basketball into this old news.

Honestly, you should be much more excited about your own school than focusing on another. It shows your insecurity.

Just go back and watch some Bama highlights.

Let me help.

Have a great day!

He was a juco qb

Without looking it up, where did last years top juco Qb sign? Nobody knows and nobody cares.

Y'all hit the jackpot with Cam. Congrats.

Stumbled into this thread about basketball and I am suddenly transported back to 2010. This guy would have been in hog heaven on the old ATPB thread.

A link to what?

A claim that you made with no facts to back it up. It seems to be something that you're good at accusing others in this thread of doing.

Obviously it was paid out in slot machines at Victoryland using secret untraceable cards handed out by Milton McGregor, didn't you even check the flow chart?

There are so many ways it can be done it would be almost impossible to know. Every situation would depend on the people involved.

That's kind of why I find the claims that nothing was found in their accounts pretty laughable.

Stop trying to pigeon hole/strawman me with whatever chart you are talking about.

He was still a 5*. There aren't 5* or even 4* QBs coming out of JUCO every year. Auburn and Oklahoma were the top 2 and your boosters cared enough to try and spend nearly $200k on him, so yeah a lot of people cared.

Without looking it up, who is the last out of state 5* that State signed?

Jeffrey Simmons.

And no. No MSU people were looking to spend 6 figures on Cam Newton. Should we have? Looking back, yes

So you're just too fricking stupid to understand my response.

If such a link existed, Auburn wouldn't have gotten away with it.

So if Cecil was just blindly shopping Can around and wasn't just approached by the State boosters then why didn't he shop them to Oklahoma who was right in the thick of his recruitment?

quote:

Stoops said last month that the elder Newton didn't inform him that the Sooners were going to have to pay a six-figure price to sign his son.

"Our recruitment of Cam could not have been better," Stoops said. "It was just fine.

"I guess you never know anymore. I didn't notice anything, and none of our coaches did when we were recruiting him."

Ah here is the crux of the argument. So you have no problem in admitting Bama paid for Tua, Fluker, TR3, etc...

You seem to be the one with the issue. You bitched because I said what you stated wasnt backed by facts, yet you complain because there isnt anything to back up me calling you out.

I now know the world you come from

If he was still a 5*, then this is to claim he would have still been a 5* coming out of highschool with only 1 or 2 years of eligibilty, a record of being kicked out of another school and whatever resolution it was for the laptop(I assume little to nothing for 1st time offense, but still a character blemish publicly).

Obviously deserved it talent wise, but he had no where near the same draw as a legit 5* coming out of highschool or even just comparing himself directly.

I've been telling the guy for pages that the link didn't exist. If you can't recognize it and just want to harp on the same shite, it's because you ain't really got shite.

It's the little stuff like this which hint that Auburn fans could give a shite less about the truth.

I had actually forgotten the whole story to be honest, but was pretty sure he got kicked out. I guess technically you are right, but it's like saying Nixon wasn't impeached.

Top google response:

quote:

Auburn quarterback Cam Newton was facing possible expulsion from the University of Florida for academic cheating when he transferred to junior college in the spring of 2009
