If bama has 27, AU has 24. Hell 3rd place in the SEC = NC!
AU now has 24 national championships using updated bammer math.
Deal with it!

Why not just claim the AP,Coaches, and BCS. You would still have the most and the rest of the football world would not be able to snicker at you. Bama doesn't need the 1932 weedwacker NC to prove your manhood.

Woo bama math is awesome! Good thing they stick to liberal arts and leave the number crunching to us.

1. Alabama- 14
If you're counting the "My Weekly Reader" national titles, that award would go to Prinecton or Yale.

Why don't you say the same thing to UT fans? Oh that's right, you're only concerned about Bama since 1/9.

So Alabama's BS titles are legit, but no other team's are ?
Gump logic.

Damn, that's gotta suck being just dominated by your state rival.

Why don't you say the same for these schools as well??????
If we are being consistent here:
ND has 8, not the 11 they claim
USC has 7, not the 11 they claim
Michigan has 2, not the 11 they claim
Bama has 9, not the 14 they claim
Tennessee has 2, not the 6 they claim
Pitt has 2, not the 9 they claim
Minnesota has 4, not the 7 they claim
Ohio State has 5, not the 7 they claim

Because none of those other teams make license plates and t shirts they wear every day saying their BS number of titles. Plus because you are a douche.

UT fans don't have the brain power to have a reasonable conversation with. I was under the impression that Bamas' fans would. I was wrong.

Championships before the BCS era are pretty much crap. Luckily for Bama, they are less than a week away from having the most either way you look at it.

Auburn math puts Au at 1. 57 was bogus as hell. Ineligible for postseason play that yr and all.

I don't know. Doesn't really matter to me and I think it's fine to distinguish between pre-poll and poll-era championships.
I do know that those earlier pre-poll undefeated Rose Bowl teams (1925, 26, 30, and 34) were definitely viewed as national champions at the time. A lot of teams claim those in the same situation. I don't see why it's a big deal that Alabama claims them.
1941 is really the only outlier and head-scratcher since it was during the poll era (i.e., 1936-present) and Alabama was not the poll champion. All other championships recognized by Alabama were either (1) pre-poll undefeated Rose Bowl teams clearly recognized as national champions at the time or (2) poll champions.

Pre-1910 titles don't count. It was a completely different game back then. All of the blue-blood programs except Michigan didn't become national powers until the 1920s.

One could be said to not be legit. Ridiculous statement to discredit the undefeated Rose Bowl NC's. Especially as many times as articles and trophy presentations have been posted during those years awarding Bama those titles.
