See, it’s this attitude. Arkansas fans think their wins in the Southwestern Conference against Baylor and Rice during the 1970s somehow elevate them to a place head and shoulders above Mizzou. I just don’t understand how you can objectively look at Mizzou football and Arkansas football and come away thinking “wow those Mizzou scrubs have no business playing against mighty Arkansas”.
Might be time to look in the mirror, Hogs fans. Since joining the SEC 30 years ago, y’all have been a cellar dweller far more often than you’ve fielded good teams. And the only recent(ish) success Arkansas had was led by this guy:

Baylor was pretty decent in the 70s and went 3-5-1 against SEC teams.

Arkansas was top 20 program 2 decades ago. Pretty much no one sees Arkansas as a top 25 program now a days and you guys will fall out of of top 25 all time wins soon at this rate.
Not trying to kick you while you’re down just calling it what it is. You can’t have Vandy’s winning percentage in the conference for over a decade and expect ppl to acknowledge you as a top 25 program.

Just because you don’t like that Arkansas is a top 25 all time program and too 25 all time wins doesn’t mean it’s not true. If anything, it’s Mizzou fans acting high and mighty just because y’all have beaten us during the worst stretch in our history.
The fact is, Arkansas fans just aren’t interested in Mizzou. Arkansas fans wouldn’t even give a damn about saying those things to Mizzou fans if y’all didn’t start talking shite to us first. Sorry not sorry that apparently offends the shite out of the Mizzou fan base.

I can agree. Arkansas needs to stop being cheap and spend money and hire a good coach and bring in much more talent than we have especially now that NIL is a thing and not illegal.

No, no. You’ve missed the point. Unlike Arkansas fans, I’m not pretending that Mizzou is god’s gift to college football. We are a middling program that can pop up and have a good season here and there. We are historic underachievers. Arkansas is a program that was good into the late 80s and has now been mediocre for a long time. Only Hogs fans in their 50s+ really recall the days of Arkansas being a top 25 program.
This little “sorry, we’re just not interested, we’re too good for your program” act is getting sadder every year. You could embrace the game. It’d be a lot of fun. Missouri and Arkansas have a lot in common. Sorry if that truth hurts.

Proof in even the game this season. We took LSU to the wire, almost won and then crapped the bed against way less inferior competition than them. We were saddled with Mizzou as our so called Rival.. Well, it just grinds us the wrong way.

We want to beat Missouri simply because it’s another game. We’re just not interested in this “Battle Line rivalry” that’s been manufactured. If Arkansas and Missouri were rivals it would’ve already happened decades ago. It hasn’t. And just because y’all are in the SEC now doesn’t change that.
Arkansas fans are more interested in getting our football program back than fighting with Missouri fans. Y’all just aren’t at the top of our list.
