I could definitely see Ole Miss winning.

Dottery got off the plane in a boot tonight. It’s a real injury he was limping after the Tech game and isn’t 100%.
I believe LSU is down another linebacker as well. I think Weeks might be the only healthy LB with SEC experience right now.

The middle of the Dline is talented but young and inexperienced against SEC lines. Ole Miss returns its interior O line.
They often run two TE sets which neutralizes LSU’s edges. And Pickett has length but does he have the speed to hang with Deuce Alexander?

Ole Miss has some big arse receivers that can block for Lacy in space. Combined with Trinidad’s mobility and ability to drop dimes. He’s the best QB in college football.

LSU has a very streaky QB on the other side. He can beat you with his feet and can hit receivers who are wide open which ole Miss has struggled with busts in the secondary but they return their two best players in the secondary this weekend. The busts were being caused by backups mostly. But Leavitt can also throw crucial interceptions in what should be a tight game on the road.

Ole Miss D line vs LSU O line will be the difference in the game. LSU right side of the line was getting wrecked by Louisiana Tech. Ole Miss has some studs in Echoles and Franklin and Oatis and Bireau (sp).

They have very fast and aggressive backers that over pursue. And I’d imagine Perkins will spy Leavitt.

Should be a great matchup but I think Ole Miss D Line + Chambliss + Lacy will be the deciding factor. Leavitt has never really won a game like this before. And neither has Kiffin.
