I’ve seen it. It made its rounds on an OU message board maybe twenty years ago, and was about Nebraska fans. Even if I didn’t, it stands on more solid ground than that of an Auburn fan being intelligent and creative enough to think of it on his own. With all due respect, an Auburn fan copying and pasting it (plagiarism) is a lot more realistic.

I've seen it as well. Does anyone honestly believe an Auburn fan came up with that on their own? C'mon.

42-22-2 That is the overall LSU v Arkie football series record. Domination.

AND, LSU is 73-32 vs Arkie in baseball. Domination.

Arkie is 38-34 vs LSU in MBB. Close, favors the Hawgs.

That helps you understand LSU history.

I think it started because Nebraska did (maybe still does) have a guy go around the stadium with a gun that launched hotdogs into the crowd.

Good luck finding blogs that are 20+ years old. For that matter, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find the original post from the Auburn fan who created the satirical LSU corn dog story. It started on a message board around 2006ish. I can find websites that reference it but have never seen the original source post. Does that mean it doesn't exist or never existed?

Here is the thing. You didn’t have internet back then. We did. We saw the angry Auburn fan plagiarize the OU fan in real time. You obviously didn’t. So you are clueless on this one.

Low-tier poster NYCAuburn is having trouble understanding why it would be difficult to find a random message board post from 15+ years ago. I'm shocked.

I fail to see what that has to do with LSU's history.

Ask Auburn fans

The corndog thing appeared on an Auburn board, posted by a someone who had not posted anything on that board before or since. Maybe he (or she) was an Auburn fan, but who knows. It has definitely taken on a life of its own, but it is really just poking fun at all college football fans.

The corndog deal came from an Auburn fan that said LSU fans smelled like corn dogs because of all the fried food at the tailgates. It’s the smell of fried food. It had nothing to do with eating corn dogs. I think it was actually “ they all remind me of the smell of vendors cooking corndogs at the state fair. They all smell like corndogs”

or something like that
