By that metric there is only one blue blood

But 1 + 1 = 2.

Alabama - 1011-333-44

Michigan - 1017-360-36

Bama won't catch them this season, maybe next. Perhaps Michigan will have a really horrible season next year.

In the time since Notre Dame’s last natty, Nebraska has 3 of them. The Domers’ last title is almost as close our last one in 1939 than it is to present day.

A delusional fan base does not make you a Blue Blood.

Nothing fun about using AI to make your posts. All over the internet people just give AI a prompt and copy/paste everything onto some forum.

People can’t even be bothered to come up with their own troll posts anymore smh

Don’t care,

Whether we’ve been considered by others “blue blood” or not hasn’t had one iota of impact these past 2 decades.

I’d just like to see some consistent winning and big meaningful games return. Do that and all the blue blood stuff will take care of itself.

Georgia is the second most underachieving college football program of all time behind Texas.

Check that. Bama officially at 982, just behind Ohio St. 987

Note. Michigan holds the lead with 1019, 32 more than OSU but started playing 11 years before OSU.

OSU and Alabama have better winning % than UM

I'm not sure which children's stat site you from which you are getting your info but you are being misled.

Here:

Michigan - 1018-361-36 73.22%

Alabama - 1011-333-44 74.42%

Ohio State - 999-335-53 73.94%

are the numbers.

Alabama possesses the best overall winning percentage of any team in college football, at this point.

Ohio State's #'s are nothing to be ashamed of at all. In fact, tomorrow, they will most likely join the 1000 win club.

I can see it. UGA is just about there. Maybe 10 more years and an NC or two.

Gotta stop at Texas for blue bloods though, cuz they were flirting with getting the boot before Sark.

Texas isn't a blue blood...neither is Georgia. Hard to gain the status, even harder to lose it, but Nebraska probably has because they've been so bad and irrelevant for nearly 25 years.

1- Alabama
2- Ohio St
3- Oklahoma
4- Notre Dame
5- USC

Next tier...Nebraska, Michigan, Texas

Next tier...LSU, Penn St, Georgia, Tennessee and the 3 FL schools in some order.

It's wild that Nebraska has spent a grand total of 7 weeks in the top 10 since joining B1G in 2011 and 3 of those weeks were in 2011

No matter if Michigan are incessant cheaters, they have to be listed in the top tier of any listing. They just won a NC and have 12 altogether.

Add in the most wins of any college team and the 3rd highest winning percentage overall of any team and they are easily in the top 5 all time.

Maybe they are #2 all time. It's a close call as to who claims the #2 spot between Michigan and Ohio State.

OSU has 9 NC's and 3rd most overall wins, while holding a very slight win percentage advantage over Michigan in the totality of their games against all opponents.

OSU also has won more NC's recently, in 2002, '14, and '24. Michigan's last three were in 1948, '97, and '23.

It's seems like, all things considered, it would most likely be like this:

Alabama
Michigan
Ohio State

The Cornhuskers are still arguably the most dominant CFB dynasty in my lifetime. They absolutely mauled teams.

Nebraska under Osborne always mauled everyone except Switzer, Miami, and FSU.

Here’s a breakdown of the number of times Nebraska scored at least 50 points from 1980-1993:

50-59: 25 times.
60-69: 12 times.
70-79: 4 times.
80-89: 1 time.

That’s 42 50+ point games in the 14 years leading up to the 1994-1997 dynasty.

Meanwhile. Miami won four national titles (and 3-0 against Nebraska with two shutouts) from 1980-1993 with the following breakdown:

50-59: 11 times.
60-69: 2 times.
70-79: 0 times.
80-89: 0 times.

That’s 13 50+ point games.

Maybe it’s accurate to say that Osborne always had a tendency to run the score up on (or “maul”) a bunch of shitty defenses. Even when he could barely score against the great Switzer, Miami, and FSU defenses, he still put up video game scores on most other teams. Nebraska only faced the Switzer, Miami, and FSU triumvirate once from 1994-1997 and just barely won. And that was Miami on the decline.

Alabama has more wins, more NC's, a higher overall winning percentage, more bowl games, more bowl wins and their uniforms are nicer than than Ohio State's, yet you list Ohio State as 1st?

Things you say don't make sense.

Buckeye fan clubs and watch parties all over the world. No school really comes close to matching their following. Buckeyes everywhere. Rednecks to gangstees to yuppies to executives. Michigan is a bit more bougie and exclusive.

Alabama truly rules the South, Notre Dame with the Catholics, but Buckeyes are the better known program overall.

On field success is pretty much splitting hairs.

There is no such thing as a "modern blue blood", and anyone using this term is a fricking retard.

Must be why the top tv ratings game usually involves Alabama on a weekly basis lol.
