And they're doing it in a 24-team playoff format. Clearly we need to expand the playoffs in the FBS to create more parity.

I was in Fargo this summer.. very cool town... Athletic facilities were nice... But I'd like to see them move up to the big leagues

They scoop up all the kids in MN and WI that didn't get offers to UMinn or Wiscy

That was my first thought when watching the end of the NDSU game today.

I guess that means 2019 wasn’t really the GOAT squad. But we all knew that anyways.

There’s probably a huge drop off in terms of partying expectations for high school prospects who are forced to consider the FCS route.

Hell, they’re probably high academic achievers considering they know the odds are against them getting a spot in the NFL.

All that being said, if you have realistic expectations, Fargo is not a bad town to live in for college.

North Dakota State is my favorite FCS school. I have watched their games throughout the years including the championships. What they are doing is impressive. Because they have done it with different head coaches. Would they do it in the FBS Div. 1? No ,but it shows an expanded playoffs should happen at the highest level of college football. 8 -12 team playoff is enough. And Bama would be in the playoffs every year still. It shows a powerhouse like Bama could still win the Natty. And Saban would have his guys ready anyways. Look at the dominance of college football teams like St. John's , Mount Union, Gambling. Their smaller schools but the playoffs hasn't slowed them down when they were at their best.
I didn't mean for this to be a playoff talk. I'm just happy the Bison won!

1. Boosters pay them.

2. Little to no academic standards.

3. Nebraska level “nutritional program”.

4. All of the elite programs at that level have moved up.

Pretty simple actually.
