Loyola lucked up a bit. Bunch of bad fouls called on UT, didn't make a shot for 3.5 minutes and then the guy gets a lucky bounce for the game winner. Thing looked like brick all the way. But, as, they say, just get it above the rim and you have a chance.

I think most coaches play on in that situation. You call timeout and you give them time to set up their defense. UT had plenty of time, they could have driven into the paint more but they looked shell shock at the end.

Just bad luck, and it sucks because Tennessee had a good team this year.

Pretty much. That was a stupid shot at the end as well. Still had nearly two seconds left iirc. No sense in heaving up a crazy 3 atp

Sure it did. Didn't you just hear Sister Jean saying God was on Loyola's side.
Thus, God was not on UT's side. That shot was willed in by God.
