There’s a video of Kiffin bragging about getting Lacy to come that went around the internet as soon as he took the job. Actively talking to Ole Miss players and have a video of him admitting it but sure there’s just stories

If y’all think LSU wouldn’t go down if Ole Miss wanted to take the gloves off yall are all retards.

If Ole Miss had absolutely anything on LSU, it would've been blasted from the rooftops long before now.

Imagine actually believing this

I better you’re one of the ones who believe Golding fought Kiffin and kicked him out of the ops building too.

Bingo !

That is why a university can't just give out NIL money and tell the player to pay for his or her own tuition.

Each NIL deal has to be attached to a scholarship as the foundational contract.

Are you saying that Golding is at his finest moment of his coaching career?

I'll add this. there are now two types of NIL. A capped limit from the school ($20 mill for all players I think) and then there is Private NIL, which the funds are basically unlimited.

But that's not really what we're talking about with the ole miss case. The problem isn't the $$$ (altho it's a multiplying factor for any penalties that might be handed out) it's the fact Ole miss (allegedly) contacted a player than had signed athletic grant-in-aid agreement. Upon signing that agreement, they are officially out of the transfer portal and can no longer legally be contacted.

Alabama might be their Saving Grace. How can the NCAA punish Ole Miss, if they don't nail Alabama for signing and playing a pro basketball player?

Knowing the NCAA, Ole Miss will get the death penalty, and Alabama will get a one scholarship suspension for one year.

I doubt that Ole Miss will get the death penalty, but I would bet that the NCAA will jump on this because it is a slam dunk example.

All of this was likely just offense by LSU to make a point to ensure that we don't try anything like that. We would not. This is not a matter up to the most extreme Kiffin hating fans. Cooler heads have the receipts. This will die down as a result.

LSU made Dabo and Fresno State turn Ole Miss in for tampering?

They have more pull than I thought.

No doubt!

Would this be a big issue if it were Alabama or Notre Dame?
