Yeah, my first wife was a 6' smoke show volleyball player at Valpo ... then she turned 40 and .... I had to trade her in on a younger model. Not because of her age.
Valpo huh? I work with a few folks who went there. I’m in Chicago and there’s a lot of Indiana folks here

Louisville chokes again. Nothing new. We were 1-6 in five set matches this season. In most of those we were either up 2-0 or 2-1 before losing

I had it on tv and y’all were up 2-0, wtf happened? I go out for a bit, bring dinner back for my family and saw y’all lost. That had to sting

Volleyball is a very underrated sport. Probably now 4th behind women's basketball in popularity

5th, behind women's softball. Assuming you are referring to NCAA.
Texas Tech/Texas WCWS averaged 2.2 million across three games.
Penn State/Louisville was the second most watched volleyball final with 1.3 million.
Edit: 6th because you are leaving out college baseball which would be ahead of softball and volleyball.

To be fair, a lot of that has to do with time of year. Women’s finals have to compete with an NFL Sunday, and WCWS had NHL playoffs to compete with I believe.

Also, the NBA playoffs. Kind of a big omission don't you think? I just present the numbers; you can play with them however you want.

I just saw the 2.2 million number and assumed that was game 3, which I thought was the same night as the NHL playoffs.
I didn’t realize that was the average over 3 games, which you’re right, definitely included game 1 of the NBA finals against it.
I don’t know how that compares to an NFL Sunday, but I was definitely off on that one.

Yeah, her Mom's side of the family is feom there. Her Dad was doing a stint with the NCAA compliance department at the time. Her grandfather was a ling time engineering professor at Purdue.
Indianapolis is a fairly underrated town tbh. I met her during a weekend trip to Indy with an Army buddy ... she fell for me because I was 4" taller than her.
There are a ton of Indiana people in Chicago for sure.
