The more I think about it, I think both State and Arkansas should have hosted over West Virginia. Their strength of schedule is dogshit.

I also wonder how much good optics will be for ESPN/ABC. Will any regional/super-regional games be on ABC? I think having the SEC Tournament Championship scheduled for ABC was a first.

The Q1 record disparity was huge. Fayetteville should be hosting. State hosting is ridiculous.

Yeah State earned it. As 789 said Arky has more of a case against the Big 12 teams.

State dominated Ole Miss this year. They’d have five quad one wins otherwise. I don’t get this one.

20 total SEC wins and we don't host. I'm just baffled. Our series losses were to Georgia, Florida, and Auburn. This is unprecedented territory I feel.

It will depend on the podding, but it's possible.
I believe Oregon, West Virginia, and Mississippi State will be seeded 14-16, so it just depends who is #13 between Nebraska and Kansas.

Ole Miss to Kansas. Arky got screwed just for a made for tv homecoming for DVH, who I think was the last coach to take Nebraska to Omaha.

Arkansas had ten more quad one wins and beat state head to head and was ahead of state in the SEC standings. Also had a deeper run in Hoover. If one of those teams got fricked it should have been State.
