guy shoulda just opened a Mens Wear store and sold signed shoes and gloves. Then he wouldn't have had any trouble.
All of this.

Yeah, the career he's worried about ruining is his own. He gives up LSU, he's dead and fed to the crocs. The reptiles, not the shoes.

In the sec,Lsu and vandy are tied for the least amount of sanctions.

why are police investigating this?

“Do what you have to do”
- Fletcher Sanders
Stop for a minute so that can sink in. Let it ring from the mountain tops. Set my people free!
Je Suis Fletcher Sanders!

Why are police involved? WTF.

After being told that he would be arrested if he did not cooperate, the man chose to go to jail rather than turn in the athlete.
“Do what you have to do,” Sanders responded, according to the report. “I am not going to be responsible for ruining someone’s career.”

Only reason I can think of is that LSU is taking this "leased property" angle serious to placate the NCAA.

Interesting question. If I had to guess, the equipment is school property, thus, without knowing how the guy acquired it, he's technically up for a charge of selling stolen goods?

Everything in BR is corrupt. The LSU football program is no different.

Let's be real. Guy isn't a hero just looking after himself:
1-Get his ars beat by a player
2-Loses money he made from selling other items
3-Get abused by LSU fans
Self preservation.

Pretty much.
If he won't give up who gave it to him, they'll sweat him out with a charge of theft.
Other than possession, I'm not sure how they will prove he stole it.

It was Rashard Robinson, it has been taken cared of.

The only incident for certain involving Rashard Robinson and some cleats was when Dillon Day stomped him in the groin.

I tip my hat to a true LSU fan there.

It's Fournette's cleats.
Could be for all we know.
I hope this guy keeps his trap shut and didn't keep any receipts or any other evidence linking him to the player.
This isn't good:
quote:
"This wasn't Sanders's first eBay listing. According to WBRZ-TV, his seller history shows nearly $3,000 worth of game-worn LSU equipment. If Tigers players keep coming to him, it's for two reasons: he gives them a fair cut of the profit, and he doesn't sell them down the river."

It better not be Fournette.
BeBe is on the case.

This reminds of when BRPD took every last one of Jordan Jefferson's shoes as evidence.
