Jordy Bahl, leaving 4x natty winner OU to go home to Nebraska was big news.
By the way, crazy that LSU got both SouthEastern La AND Nebraska in their hosted regional (somebody don't like you, LSU), but I digress.
Question, can Jordy make Nebraska more like OU in the supers? These are games I will watch!
She can bat too

I don’t see any of those teams beating OU

Imagine if she was still in Norman.

We are very beatable this year. If Deal and Lowery somehow get back to consistently pitching well - we have a shot. If only Jordy would have stayed in Norman! We should have moved her family down and brought her boyfriend too - LOL.

I can see half of those teams beating OU, Tennessee and Alabama both proved a hot pitcher can shut OU's hitters down and behind Landry, OU's pitching is inconsistent. OU has a great shot at winning, and seems to be getting hot at the right time, but this is the weakest team they have fielded in 5 years.

Bama will not have their home fans vs us … they think there stadium is loud…. You’re coming to the loudest and best fan base in softball . It really could be a quick series imo . Tenn with Pickens will always be an issue . UCLA looks to be getting it together also. FSU is always tough in World Series …. So of course anyone can win but it’s been OU who’s been doing it . Batting wise this is a way different team than 3 weeks ago with the addition of Barker.

You played in a stadium that sat less than 1,500 people until 24 months ago. Alabama has been packing a stadium that seats almost 4,000 for 20 years.

Marita Hines had added outfield seating the last few years. I think capacity was around 2,500. But yes, Bama has had a big stadium for a long time.
I'm wondering if they can pack 5,000 into Love's this weekend. I know they've topped 4,500 a few times this year. I would think this Supers matchup would easily draw 5k if it's possible to fit them in.

Also at Marita Hines... they had another 300-500 sitting behind the left field fence watching on TV. LOL.
I think Bama may face what the OU players said when they played at Bama... and that was that they were used to big crowds... but not used to big crowds rooting against them.
Also... I have a bit of a concern about the super regional conflicting with a Thunder/T-Wolves playoff game.

That's a very good point I hadn't considered.

It won't because the only time they play on the same day is Saturday and it's in Minnesota with a 5 hour difference in start time.
2:00 PM cst for Softball and 7:30 PM cst for game-3

Good to know. Thanks. I've never followed the NBA and quit watching college basketball in the mid-90s, so I'm pretty clueless about scheduling conflicts.
