Let this be a lesson to coaches.

Quit reviewing BS just to review it.

The obstruction call LSU reviewed was not even close.

Choose your challenges wisely.

Should be 1-0.

if that ball hit the runner, that sucks for LSU..

did they win their first 2 challenges?

The hit runner was not challengable I believe. I don't know why they don't allow some plays to be challenged. That makes no sense if you limit the number of challenges.

EDIT:
OK maybe they were out, sorry I thought the play was not one that could be challenged.

Should be 1-0. LSU gets fuc**d. Of course the outside didn’t do her team any favors either driving to dive for that ball.

I don't have a horse in this race, but LSU got hosed by the umpires for not taking a look at that play where the LSU player clearly saw that it hit the runner and pointed at it

Torino was right, its the Super Regionals and you should be extra vigilant

Despite all the parity, looks like the WCWS is going to be pretty chalk other than Tennessee choking as usual and Duke, who was probably underseeded, getting in.

Has Stanford run ruled anyone this year? Their offense is terrible.

The umpires can review anything they want to review in the field of play.

LSU got HOSED.

they can’t until the 6th inning I believe

each team gets 2 challenges from the 1st to 5th.. then umpires can challenge it after that

I expect this rule to change. Texas won it’s first 2 challenges in Game 1, but couldn’t challenge a 3rd call that would have also been overturned.

At the very least, you should keep your challenges if you win them.

Amazing that this pitcher's duel turned into a run rule.

Nope

I follow softball and they can review their own calls at any time. I've seen it done on several occasions.

All they have to do is announce it as an umpire's review.

Pat Torino knew perfectly well that it should have been looked at.

There is no excuse for this other than ESPN wanting to capture more of a west coast ratings spread.
