same response I had earlier, are you more confident with the refs controlling the game over the players? really?
Yes. I made this argument earlier, but maybe part of this rule change has something to do with giving the refs time to set. Working at a frenzied pace allows more room for error. I certainly wouldn't want any games to be decided by missed calls because the refs were not ready.

the HUNH is a gimmick. it's like the "quick pitch" in baseball. it's bush league and it's chicken shite. i hope they do eliminate it. line up and play football beatch. quit being a pussy.
Actually, changing the rules because you can't keep up would be a bit pussified wouldn't it?

So should the defense signal when they will be sending in a delayed corner blitz? The offense should get time to audible and cover the blitzing corner. It is only the fair and proper thing to do.

why do you want to only focus on the losses? We do have a very good record against HUNH teams...

This is college not the NFL.
Somewhat related soapbox, but why do the rules have to be different between college and pro? Isn't one of the goals of college football to prepare players for the next level? For the record I believe this should be the case for catches inbounds, penalties, etc. /rant over.

One has an active player union and the other has people trying to start one???

They still didn't get butt raped defensively compared to their average like Bama has the past two years against A&M as well as this year vs Auburn
LSU smokes teams like TAMU and Auburn defensively wit consistency when those teams run the HUNH

so the refs blow the whistle and say "play ball" when they aren't ready? sounds highly unlikely to me. If it was that big of an issue for the refs this topic would have been done and decided, guhhh it blows my mind how some of you can't think outside your box.

My wife has been trying to outlaw the Hurry Up No Cuddle for years, but I won't change who I am.

Well since its already been proven several times that more players have gotten hurt against Saban's and Bret's teams than Gus's and Oregon's then we can't play their style of offense either. No more football.
To be fair too they need a rule where the Defense has to be set for so long before the snap and can only have one man in motion at a time.

She hasn't changed a bit after all these years.

I don't care much about the hurry up, I just hope they do something to outlaw fake injuries, or at least make it to where it is extremely difficult to benefit from.

The last three HUNH teams we lost to finished #5, #2, and #6 respectively. When we lose it's to good teams. LSU lost to an unranked Ole Miss team that happened to run the HUNH. There's a difference.

This is a blatant attempt by Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide to massage the game to address any vulnerability on their team.
Nick Saban is poised to strike the greatest blow to the Tigers in 2014. The Rashaan Evans heist pales in comparison
