Yep, just like Auburn won a split in 1957.

But according to UCF's criteria, by claiming Colley Matrix, Alabama won in 2016 LINK, making Bama probably the only Division 1 team to 3-peat in national championsips 3 times

Bama & the Bear won in 1964, 1965 & 1966.
Bama & the Bear won in 1977, 1978 & 1979.
Bama & the Saban won in 2015, 2016 & 2017.
