It’s about time.
They deserve it.

I think there should be a new rule in the playoff system.

No mulligans and no byes.

They had an awesome year, won all their games and beat a good team in their bowl.

Good for them. I don't really get why anyone cares. Everyone knows the real thing, but they had an awesome year and can rightly argue they whipped the team that beat both us and Georgia. That's a legitimate reason to at least play it up as a claim.

It's probably an error. When the 2013 records book came out (August 2013), they actually had Notre Dame listed under 2012 for a few days.

Also, you and your fellow Auburn fans should take a look at page 112 and see that they also list Alabama for 1941. You can't have it both ways.

That’s great, now they have half as many national championships as aubrun does and they weren’t on probation when they won their first.....

So was it factored in prior to the BCS title game was played?

But I thought bowl games that weren't part of the playoff didn't matter? That's what Texas fans on the MSB said when y'all lost 31-7 to Arkansas.

Auburn can now claim 3 more. It's as legit as UCF's claim... 1913, 1983, & 1993 can now be added to 1957 & 2010.

The Colley rankings has Notre Dame ranked #1 for 2012 after the loss to Alabama in the BCS title game (2013).

The only other season that I checked the Colley rankings was for 2003 which lists LSU #1 with USC #2.

These threads never go as intended...lol

And people can count using whatever criteria they wish...and Alabama will still have the most.

No, no, no. By the same criteria that UCF claims theirs, Auburn has 5... 4 more than them.

Put your hate for Auburn aside for it's a new day in NCAA national championship claims. A lot of teams just got more championships they can claim.

LSU can now claim 7.
Georgia can claim 6
Kentucky's 1950 claim is as legit as UCF's
Etc, etc. etc.
