Once again your lack of reading comprehension rears its ugly head. I never asked you to get over it, just quit being so defensive. Once again I will post this link. Please take the time to read it all before responding. This is an NCAA statement regarding Cam during the investigation. Here is an excerpt for your convenience.
PS. I do realize that the NCAA ruled later there was no wrong doing, that does not change the fact that during the investigation they found that Cecil actively marketed Cam. This is my ONLY point. The NCAA will try to find something to justify their time spent investigating a situation. Be it Auburn, Georgia, Eastern Washington, who cares. If they find nothing on Rueben I will be glad, he is a good kid and deserves to play wherever he chooses to play...
According to facts of the case agreed upon by Auburn University and the NCAA enforcement staff, the student-athlete’s father and an owner of a scouting service worked together to actively market the student-athlete as a part of a pay-for-play scenario in return for Newton’s commitment to attend college and play football. NCAA rules (Bylaw 12.3.3) do not allow individuals or entities to represent a prospective student-athlete for compensation to a school for an athletic scholarship.[link=(According to facts of the case agreed upon by Auburn University and the NCAA enforcement staff, the student-athlete’s father and an owner of a scouting service worked together to actively market the student-athlete as a part of a pay-for-play scenario in return for Newton’s commitment to attend college and play football. I don't want to scare you AU fans, but I just saw Charles Goldberg taking pictures of the trees.

With the success of both UA and AU it has gotten more competitive than ever recently. My prediction is if this kind of crap with each school turning each other in over things doesn't stop we will both be finished. We will both end up on major NCAA probation. I hate this crap and just want to play some football!

I would be more nervous about KF not being named starting qb over CM than I would be about what the NCAA is doing.

Why? It took Chizik forever to name Cam Newton the starter over Barrett Trotter.

quote:You're reading way too far into that. There is no doubt that Kiehl Frazier is going to be our starting quarterback. The players knew this back in the Spring. Trust me, there's no point in listening to anything Chizik says about practice.

No need to start with throw away lines.

Its called correcting the inacuracies in your agrument, not being defensive

Probably would have been a good place to start instead of the "obviously they found something" position.

Whats your point. Everyone has quoted this bylaw. I just wnat to know what they obviously found. Good red herring though.
Lets review. Auburn sat cam, NCAA reinstated Cam. These are the facts
If anything the cam situation shows that your first post in here that if the ncaa sniffs around they're likely to find something is flawed.
You could have saved yourself a lot fo time by just posting, "where there is smoke, there is fire"

maybe KF being investigated by the NCAA and we're worried about his eligibility.
Better yet, let me phrase that in the form of a rumor.
Hey i heard KF was being investigated by the NCAA and that's why he hasn't been named starter over mosley.
