4 years is the statute of limitations for the NCAA fwiw.

I think someone mentioned it already but the statute of limitations is only in effect until the NCAA sends the letter of inquiry to the school. They can wait 3 years and 364 days, and as long as they get that letter of inquiry in, they can keep the investigation open for 20 years if they want. They won't, but they could if they wanted. Just wanted to clear that up.

Of course the NCAA will find something they have egg on their face and AU gonna pay one way or the other...Cam deal is done that is why they are ivestigating other leads to bring something to the table.

Unfortunately for AU, I believe this to be true.

There's waaaayyy too much internet info pointing fingers at AU, their coaches/recruiters, and players, academics.

AU can thank none other than Cecil Newton for opening up the barn door and letting the NCAA into the program. Now both doors have been slung open for the world to see.

honestly, with all the stuff that happened with Cam, I would be surprised that we would risk it with GR. I mean the timing just wouldn't make any sense.

But they got away with it. If you do something wrong and get off the hook, it is going to make you feel like you can keep pushing the envelope.

I think that based on some of Mark Emmert's comments the NCAA wanted to nail Auburn for Cam, but they just didn't have a rule for what went down. Now they are gonna do everything they can to uncover something that they DO have a rule against. It's basically like OJ getting the max sentence for armed robbery despite officially being a "first time offender."

What is internet info? Are you referring to message boards, ATPB and the like? Just wondering.

Still not discerned.

You're just being stupid. If you were a high school coach, would you feel the need to get "payed" to "encourage" your kids to go to Auburn? Might be able to argue too much influence, but being "payed" to is a stupid argument.

Auburn chose the wrong school if they did in fact get dirty with Lorio's players.

Did we ever get an explanation for why Lorio was fired in the middle of the season? We ain't talkin about the NFL here. Small town high school coaches don't get fired in the middle of the season unless they seriously screw up somehow.

Maybe he messed around with a cheerleader or something, but I would be very curious to hear an official explanation or report about his termination given his reputation in recruiting circles.

If I'm an LSU fan, I'm not sure I would be thrilled with the media and NCAA sniffing around Thibidoux. You better make sure Lorio has his closets cleaned 'cause there's no doubt which school he funnels recruits to or the lengths that he will go to for that. It's one thing to watch a shitstorm over something far removed, like Cam Newton or Terrelle Pryor. It's another thing to welcome a shitstorm in your own backyard. Auburn's capable of punching back. Just ask Gene Jelks.

The artilce linked said the Principle and he came to an agreement to go seperate ways due to disciplinary issues with players that were not addressed.

Yeah, pretty much. Like it or not, message boards bring out a lot of crap and can often times bring out truth too.

Whether you agree or not, ATPB has dug up some dirty shite on AU's BOT members, AU supporters and AU coaches and players over the past 4 months. I don't for one minute believe all the crap on that thread. But, 100% of the crap over there doesn't have to be true for AU to get the hammer. If just 1% of the shite on ATPB has any shread of truth to it, AU is in trouble.

TD.com brought out folks in Arkansas that exposed Walt Williams for what he really is - it also exposed Sean Nelson for what he really is; they are both street agents that AU coaches use/employ to recruit players to AU.

Anyone want to get into Brother Chette Williams and his ministry with Wayne Hall running Chette's program. You know, Dye's old bag man "Wayne Hall".....

Being talked about on finescum now. This is great, AU fan says the only ones driving this witch hunt are the gumps and they are the only ones that care. Also, that with all the SEC NCCG wins the only one that doesn't count is Bammer cause if McCoy didn't get hurt they lose.

Dude is now saying he works for a CC camera company to get vid of ATM card uses

i'm just wondering what recruits from thibodaux that lorio has funnelled to LSU from years past. i'm very very young, so my knowledge bank ain't all that full.

Please post one thing the ATPBers have discovered. Everything they get is something that has already been published/made open to the public. They just like to take everything negative about CFB or Alabama politics and use their imaginations to "tie" it all to AU.
