These players are gonna start getting pricey. Good thing Arkansas has that wal-marks money.

thank you! alabama's textbook cheaters were ruled eligible again and then alabama was put on probation and wins vacated. i think auburn was just sticking their toe in the water seeing how the ncaa would feel about cam when they ruled him ineligible.

This doesn't mean anything. And any auburn fan rejoicing is going to look very foolish down the road.

The NCAA concluded on Monday that a violation of amateurism rules occurred, therefore Auburn University declared the student-athlete ineligible yesterday for violations of NCAA amateurism rules.

Yet, they went ahead and reinstated him. Wow!

Anyone who reads this and then thinks that this is over simply doesn't understand the NCAA process. This is a routine part of all investigations, even those that find some form of wrong doing. The surprising thing to me is that this didn't happen several weeks ago.

Based on the information available to the reinstatement staff at this time, we do not have sufficient evidence that Cam Newtonanyone from Auburn was aware of this activity, which led to his reinstatement.
.

I find it very hard to believe he didn't know what his father was doing. But innocent until proven guilty.
