You also send every runner from 1st to home on a double with 2 outs as long as average speed. There's only a 27% chance next guy gets a hit and brings him in. Walk for next guy doesn't bring 3rd based runner in after a double. Most runners have a greater than 27% chance to score from 1st on a double. Even if 40%, the next guy isn't hitting .400. I say same for 2-out singles and a runner on 2nd. Always send runners rounding 3rd in 2 outs if there's any doubt he'll make it. Otherwise you have a 1 in 4 chance next guy produces which is shite odds.

Yeah. That's exactly what we need to happen. I like our chances more to beat Murray twice than GT. Plus, both teams are burning through their bullpens.

Yeah someone mentioned it’s really only one error so I think all of those runs are earned which sucks because you’re right that first error was awful and then they had an easy chance at a double play and they botch it.
Was the throw that bad and off line or did the 1st basemen just step too early and couldn’t adjust to the ball or something?

Separate from the error causing 6 runs, no one has hit Kyson like this all season. NC has a very good hitting coach and strong up and down the lineup. They pitched their ace already and this pitcher is good too.
Doubt we can recover, we have not been a good hitting team all year our pitching has been our strength. And when they are pinging your ace its pretty much over. We score least runs all year with Kyson pitching.

Duke Baseball stadium is okay-ish, no stands but maybe 500 ppl capacity. Right by Cameron Indoor. Subtle, not so subtle brag when I interviewed for Duke full time MBA, I made pit stops at both. Cameron Indoor is so small. From the outside doesn't look at all bigger than a High School gym, but they have a great gift shop and mini museum there. The Gothic architecture on campus is beautiful, the tall church with gothic architecture on campus is unlike other US buildings. Football stadium reminded me of TCU stadium in that it's a bowl that they dug into ground where you walk down into your seat from outside stadium and a small horseshoe.

I think they are considered as unearned. I checked espn app and it shows 0 earned runs but not sure if they get that from officials or did on their own.
Just sucks to start the game and its game over after 1. Our batters are not good enough to overcome this.
