Jump has been so good the last couple of months. Had a 27 pitch 2nd inning and still only has thrown 69 (nice) pitches through 5

Gage Jump

That 2nd inning he really struggled with his fastball location and kept missing up but he has been absolutely dialed in since then

Shocker
Condon goes hard for the dawgs

Why you pitch to him if you don’t absolutely have to.. I will never understand

So Vanderbilt sucks (no surprise there),
Georgia is struggling with their 4 seed (no surprise there),
and LSU is getting shut out (big surprise there).

Post-season baseball. Gotta love it!

It's not an official Kentucky game unless we're caught stealing third.

I think it's close enough you have to offer at it and foul it off. It was a ball tailing back in towards the plate and he hit his spot. Probably a little bit outside but no so far outside you don't protect the plate with a 2 strike count

It’s his sinker. It quite literally tails away from the plate

He would have had to reach across the entire fricking box lmfao

You just said a sinker tailing away from the plate was trailing towards the plate

I may see what I want to see but that’s better than not seeing at all

Cats score again on the CF missing the ball.

8-0, B4, 2 outs

a sinker falls down and arm side. He's a right handed pitcher. His arm side would be moving in towards a right handed batter

Would love to hear the explanation on this. RHP throwing an outside fastball to a RHH tails towards the plate. Not away.
