Dude that’s not what the link says. They are still investigating the impermissible benefits in regards to the ongoing use of UGA vehicles street racing and the routinely driving recklessly while intoxicated with underage recruits. I mean they killed a staffer and a player so of course it’s going to cause waves.

Tennessee doesn’t seem to understand - or prefers to pretend that they don’t - that giving money and free flights to players to lure them into signing at your school is against the rules.
A player who is already at a school is entitled to NIL. The more successful he is as a player, the more money he gets. There is nothing wrong with players making money with NIL - and spending it as they like - once they are already on scholarship and in school. That’s what NIL is suppose to do.
I don’t like this new system but it’s the law now. Just like the portal.
UT broke the one rule still standing regarding NIL and they think playing tough guy and blustering and bitching will get them off.
I doubt that as they are a repeat offender. And repeat offenders get the hammer lowered on them.
If Carson got 4 mil from the collectives - and I seriously doubt this trumped up story - good for him. He has earned it. Just beating the crap outta UT is worth that and more.
