That's a bit of a reach. He's from Tennessee and played at Furman. His only tie to LA is his current coaching gig. He's just as likely holding out for the Bama OC position

Napier clearly wants to stay right where he’s at in Lafayette. He wants to build something big there. It seems like if he goes anywhere at this point it’s a place like Texas, Tennessee or USC. A monster job.

Is he that confident Orgeron cannot turn it around? He’s crazy if he’s waiting on that. There is no guarantee LSU or Bama would want him.

Pretty clear he wanted the SC job. However we caved to alumni pressure and went with Beamer. Napier was my top choice.

No troll. I honestly think Napier is watching what is going on in college football and sees the booster interference. Everywhere ...

- The media and boosters in Texas tried to unseat Herman at Texas without firing him first, and the ousting of of Mack Brown is well-recorded.
- Gus had his own DC work with Auburn boosters to stab him in the back so he could be the new coach, and the fans revolt
- Tennessee conduct search - hires Schiano. Fan backlash causes that to fall through, and now the Tennessee boosters are working overtime with the University to get their savior Pruitt fired this year
- Helton under fire for years at USC, with boosters actively working against him as well, and they were in the PAC championship this year

A lot of CFB "name' jobs are a complete dumpster fire due to booster interference. I'd take my fat paycheck at ULL and wait for something better as well

Yeah that was a stretch. Shoot if things keep going the way they are, Texas won’t be either. OU owns that conference and damn near owns the whole state of Texas too
