We don't believe Huge Freeze will end up on the staff but two other OC names to watch are Chip Lindsey

Mike Locksley and Chris Rumph have also been mentioned as possibilities for this staff

Lmao. Hell, he may just start up a 3rd family in Knoxville

You're assuming he doesn't already have one there.

That's a pretty big leap of faith.

Bruce Feldman @BruceFeldmanCFB Expect Jeremy Pruitt to hire his #Bama roommate Will Friend, not the OC at #CSU, as his O-line coach at #Tennessee. Friend was instrumental in bringing Pruitt to #UGA.

Bruce Feldman @BruceFeldmanCFB Kevin Sherrer, a big-time recruiter and LB coach at #UGA who has background with Pruitt, is a DC target at #Tennessee. I've also heard Nick Saban may look at Sherrer too for his DC vacancy to replace Pruitt at #Alabama.

In. Moultrie. Isn't the guy like 87?

Propst is 60 years old, so I would think it unlikely for him to start a career in college at that age. It's possible, of course, but I would think improbable.

Been hearing for a couple of years that he's been
wanting to get a college shot. It's gotta to get under his skin a little when he see's his HS assistants move up in that world.

I don't think I would hire an unproven 60 year old guy from the high school ranks if I were a new head coach at a major university.

HS coaches are making the leap fairly often these days.
Not necessarily to a coordinator position but at the very minimum as an analyst.ESPECIALLY someone like Probst who has recruiting contacts all over Georgia and
Alabama. Pruitt,Mahlzan,Freeze,Lindsay (AU/OC) are a few.

Probst would have made the leap a long time ago if not
for the baggage.

Chip has a 1.6 million dollar buyout if he leaves for another job except for a head coaching position.

So a guy that had an SEC HC,SEC OC and SEC DC coaching under him plus multiple State Championships and multiple P5 signees is "unproven'"?

Rusty Mansell saying that Pruitt is going to make Sherrer his DC. Congrats Vols, he's a good one and Pruitt seems to be putting together a really solid defensive staff. It'll be interesting to see who he gets for the offense. Pruitt will be good for y'all if he can stay under control.
