I'm pretty sure there's only going to be 1, maybe 2, folks on here that will try to argue that Bo isn't the #2 back behind Walker. Everyone else in their right mind will acknowledge that (Bo is #2).. If Bo wasn't hurt in '84, he would've had another 1,500 yard + season with a lot more TDs.

All in all..

#1 Walker
#2 Jackson

everyone else..

Please don't say this, because it opens up an argument for every other back...

And if Bo hadn't had a tremendous Oline that kept him and other Au backs untouched in 83, he'd only have a 6.13 ypc average. Two other backs for Au that yr had over 1300 yards total rushing. That year is the year he averaged 7.7. It's pretty easy to see that he had the benefit of a great line moreso than anything else. The other 3 yrs he played, including his Heisman year, he was on par with many other backs, in fact, maybe lesser, as his scoring and stats show.

When he missed the majority of the season, it has to be brought up, IMO.

Put Ingram in perspective, he only missed 2 games.. That's not that big of a deal.

I'm saying he's the #2 back, I thought that was obvious at this point.

Bo had a great yr his soph year, as did 2 other backs that year for Au. Many folks have had one single great years. The rest, he was really good, but many have been just as good.

When you normalize Bo's data through a linear analysis and field out Pascal datum and F Test outliers, Bo doesn't even sniff the top 5 backs.

In fact, that leaves you with nothing more than sorcery, anecdotes, and conjecture, which is sort of Cecil Collins, who I would put ahead of Bo because of the wiping-his-manhood-on-sleeping-ladies thing.

You seem intent on really defending Bo, Ms. Jackson. I know he bulled forth from your vagina in record time, trucking a pediatric nurse in the process, but you're really embarrassing yourself here, especially regaling us with tales of circumcision-by-plasma-cutter.

Bo had 4 seasons while many brought up in this thread had less. It equals out...

He missed 2 games yet was hampered by the injury all season. He didn't even get close to his 2009 carries. Hell, he had more carries his freshman season than last season.

You give Ingram a healthy season and a Senior season, that's another 2 1000+ yard seasons and 2 10+ TD season.

But it comes down to "what if's" didn't and will never happen...

thats bullshite- Walker had 344 more carries than Bo, yet not even a thousand more yards

Walker had better overall stats and you can say he was more durable- but Bo was the better RB
