Wasn't he found in the car with them right after the hold up? How could he have an alibi?

I expected JJ would be given leniency since he didn't actually PARTICIPATE in the robbery...wasn't the story that he was in the store while the other two were robbing the guys? I'm guessing they are waiting for confirmation of that aspect of the story before deciding his punishment.

Yes, New Keys is the one. I think now that he has been released you may see some more details of his recruitment come out.

The funny part is that Lane bragged about getting New Keys to lie to the FL staff about still being committed.

I guess if you are willing to lie and to encourage others to lie you get what you ask for in the end.

I hope they all get their lives turned around.

So Kiffin's lesson to his players is don't commit armed robbery, or any other felony... unless you're a 5 star recruit?

5 star = mitigating circumstances

quote:

mitigating circumstances n. in criminal law, conditions or happenings which do not excuse or justify criminal conduct, but are considered out of mercy or fairness in deciding the degree of the offense the prosecutor charges or influencing reduction of the penalty upon conviction.

he was the lookout guy distracting the clerk . he was a part of it, Vol fans can spin this shite all they want but he was a part of it and should be charged. He got in the car afterwards and left the scene. GUILTY!

My guess is that the defense will contend that he had no knowledge of what was about to happen and that he was not actually distracting the clerk.

I don't think the court of law agrees with you, but we shall see...

Regarding Jackson, I am reminded of a quote from Lonesome Dove:

"Gus McCrae: You know how it works Jake, you ride with an outlaw, you die with an outlaw. I'm sorry you crossed the line."

Jackson isn't in the same boat as the other two, he was released without being charged. IMO he is just as guilty but you can't make a snap ruling, look at the penn state player who was booted and turned around and sued.

the other two don't have 5 strikes against them over this semester like Janzen either. This is Warrick/Coles all over again as everybody knew from the first police report. The best player gets to stay even if he is the bigger troublemaker.

The most interesting thing will be to see how long Lance Guidry keeps his job at Miami (OH) now.

Name 5 plays that Chad Jones has made this year that have impressed you. I just don't see it. Chad Jones will be a first round pick but better than Mays.....please!!!
