Your next year will be the next year after that and the year after that.
Georgia began and finished the season with double bookend losses.
Also, why the hostility toward brother SEC schools who just happen to have better football programs? We all pull for our teams but the whole conference benefits when all SEC teams do well in bowl games. Do you think you build yourself up by attempting to tear others down? It is more psychological insecurity than bravado.
Grow up man.

To be completely truthful with you, I would be far more disappointed to have the caliber team to make it to the MNC and then lose it. The expectations are just different. Hell, Bammers went ballistic when they lost a regular season game by 3.
frick that. I'd trade a Cap one bowl win for a BCSCG loss any day. I'd certainly take it over an outback bowl loss.

You back on the Fire Richt wagon?
Posted on 1/2/12 at 10:23 pm to Swoopin
all i needed was a nudge to fall off the wagon. i got a roundhouse kick to the face instead.
if he isn't going to relieve bobo of his duties and put this dumpster fire of an offense in motion then he is no longer needed and indeed a detriment to the program. they had an opportunity to finally show the team had matured and were ready to beat a quality team. they shite the bed instead so i really have issue wanting richt until he makes dramatic changes and even then i still presume guilty until proven innocent.

No, I don't care for real life porn.

A UG fan calling others smug?
That was worth a few chuckles.

then i wouldn't watch it, they won't be even to replay it on ESPNU because of the graphic content
it was their worst game and that is saying something because even on their best day it looks like we are fielding a team of 5 middle schoolers from fat camp

My only consolation tonight
my only consolation to this thread will be that uga hasn't been relevant in my lifetime and shows no signs of contending on a national level at any point in the future.
the best part?
their fans remain in a constant state of denial.

And exactly what were over half the threads about on the Rant today other than salting UGA fans' wounds...? I have no intention of building myself up over who wins or loses the MNC. Hell, I don't think I have made it through the first quarter watching any MNC game ever since they moved it to a week later. I am just saying that, after all the schadenfreude on display today, I will enjoy other's tears on the board in a week. How did Jane Austen put it...what are we but sport for our neighbors and to laugh at them in their turn..?
As for next year, that is what CFB is all about. And I certainly hope that my "next year" will be the next and next. Damn, a three-peat would be sweet!

this was a good one

ALWAYS "next year" for UGA fans

I can see a 4 peat of getting stomped in the SEC championship.

they are only pissed because they are good sec fans and want all sec teams to win, esp against the big 10 and pac 10. they feel georgia let them down just like arkansas did last year. and you have to admit, richt played not to lose several times during that game, esp the ot and esp with a fg kicker that has missed so many damn fg's this year. it's kinda like if they didn't care that would mean they didn't like you.

Smug? No, just incredibly happy that I didn't spend 4 years in Tuscaloosa.
Baton Rouge might be nice- never spent any time there, just passing through. Liked New Orleans, though, and I love the Atchafalaya wetlands. So incredibly beautiful. That could be because I grew up around the swamps of South Georgia.
