I actually don't hate Florida. I do pull for them whenever they're not playing LSU. IMO, they are 2 programs in the same as of late. Same teams. Same fans. As much as I would like to hate Tebow, I just can't. I do despise the frick out of that stupid lucky arse jump pass, but other than that.....

no one has had a reason to hate bama since maybe the early 90s. Fulmer hates them but that dates back to his playing days in the 1800s. and the aubs hate bama too but everyone knows that.

I actually like Tebow and Florida is fine with me except when we are playing them. Spurrier is actually one of my favorite SEC too.

FWIW - the OP pretty much sums up why a lot of people dislike Alabama (not in his explinations, but in his spoiled brat sense of entitlement attitude).
I don't dislike Alabama at all, but I can't stand some of their fanbase (although to be fair EVERY fanbase has those idiots - Bama's are just either more plentiful or more outspoken).

No, it's because no matter how rational and intelligent a Bama fan may be in any other setting, they become the most myopic fricktards on the planet when conversation turns to CFB.

This is in regards to just your general average run of the mill redneck Bama fans. If you are not one of these, don't be offended. If you are one of these, PLEASE TAKE NOTES.
I actually think Bama fans are hated because they have no humility. Bama fans, as a general rule, take credit for things they did not achieve on the field or in the stands. Now most fan bases do this, which is somewhat understandable. As a fan, you definitely have a part to play. The problem with Bama fans is that they then use this "achievement" to denigrate others and somehow elevate their status so they can feel superior to other people. This is a very common trait but the Bama fans that do this are usually incredibly insecure and not very intelligent. When you have some idiot screaming at you that you suck because you don't have the history or tradition of Alabama's football team and he very clearly is a dysfunctional member of society, it is annoying as hell. You can't reason with them. They simply do not understand the actual truth about theirself and no amount of debating or pointing out their IQ or the way in which they live their life will bring them out of their delusion. They simply believe that they are better than they really are for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with the value of a human being. THAT is fricking ridiculous.
