The 80's were pure hatred for Bama. It was just so contentious. Bama still thought they were better than AU though we were kicking their arse up and down the field. They were always full of excuses even though they were a miracle kick and Bo getting the wrong play away from losing 8 straight. Then refusing to play in Auburn made me lose all respect for Bama back then.

The key to your post is the Saban actually has his team in National Championship games. Doesn't look like Auburn's done much "on the field" in that area....
