We heard this same story how good UGA was in 2019, they escaped with a 7 pt victory in Jordan Hare. Auburn had a true Freshman QB and no Tank or Jarquez.

That game was 21-0 going into the 4th qtr.

56-0

That sounds good but there are 0 teams that have come in to Jordan Hare and won by more than 2 TDs in the last 5 years.

This includes National title winning clemson and bama teams.

Well this is obviously a fair and impartial look at the game.

Yeah and a true freshman almost lead a comeback in the 4th, score ended 21-14. Im not sure but I think Auburn had the ball last witha chance to tie, could be wrong. Moral is the game will be closer than people think.

Fair.

RB - Toss up (Auburn has arguably the best 2 RBs in the SEC but UGA’s committee is really nice too)

Fair.

quote:

WR - Toss up (niether group is impressive)

I guess fair, but even with all their injuries I can't see them being worse than what our guys have been this year.

quote:

TE - UGA (Bowers is amazing for a freshman)

Yea, is Darnell Washington playing?

quote:

OL - UGA (i really dont have enough info here, but id say UGA just cuz of talent)

UGA has a massive edge here.

DL - UGA (Jordan Davis, nuff said)

UGA has a massive edge here.

quote:

LB - Toss up (id take pappoe and mcclain over anyone but UGA has a nice corp, nakobe dean is a monster!)

I love McClain and Pappoe is fine but overrated. UGA overall is much better and deeper here.

quote:

CB - UGA (i really like Auburn’s but UGA’s is big, fast and physical)

Talent wise probably close but UGA's DL makes UGA's CB's job much easier.

quote:

S - Toss up (im also choosing smoke monday over their guys but both are good)

Dude, Smoke is bad. Like Big Kat, he's got a catch nickname and somehow it blinds some people to their actual ability.

Outside of the lines it's probably a pretty fairly matched game, unfortunately for Auburn the lines are the most important thing and the discrepancy there is huge.

Pappoe wouldn't touch the field as a LB at UGA, maybe at STAR or Special Teams but that's it.

You are getting a lot of flak for this and I think a lot of it isn't warranted because some people are comparing a unit with outstanding rush OLBs like Anderson to guys in a different system. McClain and Pappoe would play inside if they were at UGA.

So lets compare the inside backers. I think Dean is better than either, but either of them are better than Quay Walker IMO. You can't really go wrong either way.

If you do want to add Derrick Hall in there, I think hes really underrated and might end up like Danielle Hunter from LSU where the college production wasn't really there but he blows up in the NFL.

At best UGA wins 35-21, i havent seen a team come into Auburn and win more than that. It just simply doesnt happen and thats being brutally objective.

Those scores of 56-0 arent realistic, but your team is really good. I hope its much closer.

Yeah but the crazy thing is PFF rated our DL(not edge guys) one of the best in the country behind UGA. We have the most TFL is the nation behind Troy.

On OL we havent given up a sack and our rushing offense as a whole is top 10 in the land.

All people wanna talk about is 2 bad quarters vs GSU.

Yall have three players that would start for GA. Maybe 4 if you put Smoke over Chris Smith at safety.

Smoke
Tank or Hunter (White is only starting because of experience, lets get real here)
Roger McReary
Carlson
Pappoe
McClain (not both, but if either were there they would start over Quay Walker)

I count 7. Lot of other guys that would play though.

Demetris Robertson would definitely be starting with all the injuries yall have at WR right now though

I do think Auburn gives UGA their biggest test of the season, at least in terms of pushing our defense. Auburn has had some wild luck in JHS and you can't discount that if they keep it close in the closing minutes. I'll say 24-10 UGA. I don't see our run game being as effective as last week and I think Bennett struggles but does just enough to put the game away late.

My first thought after reading OP.

As we all know, good lines fix a lot of problems with the other position groups and Georgia has an enormous advantage on both lines vs Auburn.

Recruiting on the OL and, to a lesser extent, the DL are where Gus and company really dug a hole that Harsin is going to have to work really hard to climb out of over the next several years.

My god UGA fans are the most insecure little babies in the world. He literally said "We've got good guys too", not "Our guys are better" or even "I THINK our guys are better" and y'all turn it into a pissing contest because you haven't won anything meaningful in your lives

Smoke, McReary, Carlson are all very debatable. Robertson would not start even with all the injuries. That is why his move to Auburn was a good one. I was thinking Nix would start over Bennett, but that is debatable too.

Had the ball with 2 minutes left and driving when Nix missed Harold Joiner with an easy pass on 4th and 2.

This game will be closer than most think but I still can't say I think AU can win it. My heart tells me AU pulls it off but my common sense says it about 80/20 UGA to win.

For AU to win it will have to be something like 19-14, a TD on a big play and 4 FG's. I don't think any team is going to sustain multiple drives on Uga's defense. It would also take the crowd impacting Uga's offense.

My only things I feel certain about is UGA scores much less than they have on anyone other than Clemson and AU scores more than anyone has outside of USC and their garbage time score. My best guess at a realistic final is UGA between 21-24 and AU 10-13.

I wouldn't really debate McCreary or Carlson at all. Your kicker is good too though.

I forgot Nix, I think he would start too.

I believe he was making a case that Auburn’s LBs are on equal footing as UGAs in the basis that they have 2 good players.

But keep carrying their water for them.
