Just bought my ticket and booked my hotel room yesterday. Will be in the lower bowl between the 30 and 40 about 30 rows up.

Very late birthday present to myself. Birthday was last month, but was stuck over here in the suck. I leave Afghanistan on 30 Aug. Land in ATL on the 31st. Will be going to the game on Sept 1st. Then flying the rest of the way home for my R&R on the 2nd.

I am going to sit that one out. I am 0-2 in the Benz so I wil watch from home hoping for a different result

Being an ex-LSU fan, I am looking forward to that game most. However, our best game will probably be Auburn, again.

I think South Carolina has a reasonable chance to win both this year. You will need things to fall right for you, but this could be a big year for you.

It’s a toss-up between UGA and Bama for me right now. I can only get down there for 1.

You play Alabama every year. Go see the Georgia game. Should be a good game.

Away - Notre Dame, obviously. Pretty rare chance.
Home - Tennessee. Chance to win 3 straight. Actually, it could be the 3rd win in a row scoring 40+ points. Would get us to 5 out of the last 10, too. A full decade of football equality with UT. Who would have seen that coming?

Well, I was born in Baton Rouge, and grew up wearing a little purple and gold sweater with LSU on it. I followed and pulled for LSU up until I was 25 or so. While I was in georgia I followed Georgia, but LSU was still my favorite team. I transferred back to baton Rouge from Atlanta, and my co-workers insited I was a Georgia fan because I was from georgia. I tried to explain the situation, but they wouldn't hear of it. Every time Georgia fell behind in a football game they gave me a ton of crap....so I decided, "What the heck." I began pulling for Georgia. I follwed them more closely and quit following LSU.

Now I am back in Georgia, and could never go back to being a LSU fan.

I have a brother who wears purple and gold whenever he can...painted his man cave purple and gold, and is still a rabid LSU fan even though he still lives in Georgia. That could have been me if some LSU people had not made my life a living nightmare.

So, you can think LSU has some mysticla powers of holding people, but that isn't true. My family and myself, were probably some of the most rabis LSU fans you could hope for. The family was friends with george Rice (Don't know who he is and you call yourself a LSU fan?) We used to make our dentist appointments on Saturdays (when the dentist office was closed) because we would listen to the LSU football games while our teeth was being worked on with the dentist who was also a big LSU fan and a friend. So, yes. I was a LSU fan. But that was a long, long time ago.

Colleague of mine up here is entering Ole Miss law school this Fall. Plan to go down to the SC-OM game. If you can believe it, it’s been a 10 years since SC has been to Oxford

LSU/Georgia is a must for me. I moved to Atlanta last year and have made a shite ton of UGA friends. We have a group of 15+ guys coming in town for the game so I’m looking forward to hosting all of them

LSU/Alabama

LSU/Auburn due to the proximity

LSU/Arkansas due to my uncle’s new suite

Georgia/Florida is always the correct answer for UGA fans. Anyone who has never gone will never know how much of a party it is in Jacksonville for that game.
