This would be good if not for my desire for the NFL to ESAD

I wouldn't have a problem with that at all. But, I don't think he makes it to 28. IMO someone will trade up to get him before that pick. It would be a bit odd to have the QB for the Saints and the PG for the Pels both be Bama alums.

Wouldn't it be absolutely funny if Mac went there and won multiple SBs.

I don't think it would be funny at all. It would be glorious just like when Mark Ingram and Roman Harper balled for us. I loved every second of it.

Imagine the 2 GOAT SEC Quarterbacks going to historically loser franchises in back to back drafts

I hope Ingram comes back on a year contract and gets the yardage he needs to be the Saints career leader

It would be funnier if he went to the Saints and the rapist worshipers slid out the top of the division for the next 10 years.

He would immediately class up the place. Hope he knows how to call 911 when his car is stolen, broken into or robbed.

I want the Titans to select him at 22 and let him sit a year or two behind Tannehill. Time to look to the future.

Believe it or not, two Ole Miss alums in Archie Manning and Deuce McAllister (historically a bigger rival than Bama) are two of the most revered former Saints.

Provided Payton thinks highly enough of “Mac” as a qb to draft him in the first round, if he embraces the city, then Louisiana will embrace him back, just like any other Saints player. In Louisiana, people don’t murder their friends, because they were not upset enough over a loss to a rival.

ETA: if “Mac” won multiple Super Bowls for the Saints, we’d be ecstatic.

Most "Saints Fans" really don't care if they have legit players from Alabama. The group you are referring to would be the jaded LSU fans who also happen to root for the saints.
