So we will not have Mullen or Grantham coaching. Joe Moorhead will not be coaching the bowl game obviously. You can't install stuff like that and he will be busy recruiting and keeping current class together according to his own words.

However, Moorhead said we wants to watch the bowl practices. I have to think an offensive guru like that is going to give some ideas. I don't think we beat Louisville having temporary coordinators on both sides of the ball. I'm just hoping Moorhead at practice (Says he is not intefering with game plans) is asked for suggestions. I'd really like to beat Louisville with their potent offense.

Dumb reply. You want a new coach to come in 2 weeks before a bowl game and implement a new system? Gotcha.

What's Nick Fitzgerald's status?

This game will come down to

1. Can you shut down Lamar Jackson
2. Can you score more points than Lamar Jackson

...so the same math of every game...but revolving around Lamar Jackson.

Fitzgerald is out until next year. Yeah it's a lot for us to overcome for sure. We do have an assist coach who has been a DC twice so that should help some but yeah, it's going to be interesting.

Yep you right. I just always pull for the conference in bowl games and hoped we did our part. It could get ugly but who knows.

...and Grantham has already left to UF. Yea, I'll take Louisville at -6.5.

Peter Sirmon would have to be REALLY Bad for MSU to win this game with Lamar Jackson. I don't see it at all.

Bro, chill. JoMoe got this. We arnt just running around with our heads cut off. We will see a few of his style plays during the bowl.....especially the tempo. We got this. It's not but a 7 point spread.....paying 2:1 on the ML...last I check...........we will prob win the game.

I will be pulling for you guys. I have never harbored any ill will toward MSU. I just see this as one of those games where the team is just going to mail it in and get started on next season.

Joe Mo won't be coaching that game. I'm being realistic. We won't have our QB, Head coach or reg DC. And we are facing one badass QB in a system that can score. I'm chilled, just not the way you are.

I didnt say he was going to coach. I just reiterated that he was still going to be a "head Coach" without calling plays. And fella, if I was anymore chill, I would be gelid.

His foot might be facing the right direction? How is this even a question?

That's a gruesome response but kind of accurate. However, the good news is that the surgery went well, was not as much collateral damage as feared, and might even be back for Spring training (which is crucial for a new offense).

About the game though. Sirmon's defense being as bad as I suspect it to be is our only hope. Quarterback is too good to completely contain, so we have to score a ton. I don't see how we don't give up close to a ton with no defensive strategy mastermind left that I am aware of.

If he can get this point across, I think we will be ok:

"Hey KT, here's some advice I picked up early in my coaching career. Don't fumble and don't throw interceptions. Go get 'em".

It's tough, but we lost several coordinators when Richt left and Kirby stayed at Bama, and still won. It can be done, but it won't be easy. Sometimes a team will play with more passion because they have a breath of fresh air with a new/different coaching staff....plus the underclassmen will want to impress the new coach and catch his eye.

Either way...good luck. I hope you whup up on them!
