The TJ lovers need to wake up! I'd take John Brady right now! He knew how to recruit. TJ never came close to Brady's classes.

He can coach. I thought the best job that he did was the year after Swift and crew departed. Because of sanctions and NCAA rules that were in place at the time, he only had 6 or 7 players total. They had a tough time going the full 40 minutes, but they gave everyone fits.

Brady had 10 years to build a solid program. He went to the NCAA tournament 4 times in 10 years. Twice as a 4 seed, once as a 6 seed and once as an 8 seed.
2006 Final Four year=Awesome. Beat Texas A&M, Duke and Texas. Lost in a pisspoor game to UCLA.
2000 Sweet Sixteen Year=Lost to Wisconsin at the Pit. Struggled with the altitude bigtime.
2003 NCAA's=6 seed=got mudstomped by UAB
2005 NCAA's=8 seed=got mudstomped by Purdue
NIT=Lost to Ball State in Quarterfinals
Made the SEC Tournament Semifinals twice. Never made it to a SEC Tournament Championship.
Sounds like you guys got rid of Stansbury because he hadn't made the NCAA's since 09. So you want Brady who made the postseason 5 times in 10 years?

That's what I would love for LSU to do.
I personally don't understand all of the Stansbury hate. He's pretty respected by all of your conference brethren.
I guess that's why I don't understand all of the John Brady love.

It all goes back to his lack of success in the NCAA tournament. He never made the Sweet 16.
It blew up last year with the Sidney fight in Hawaii and came to a boiling point this year with our collapse at the end of the season losing 7 of our last 9 and not making the NCAA tournament with 2 first team all SEC players.
