It’s the mentality of the delta farmer man. Just negative and pessimistic.
Bayou Academy nearly went under and had Jimmy sanders and all of his children as alumni. He had millions of dollars and he wouldn’t write a check to save the school. Thankfully other people stepped up but I’ll never forget that.

I feel the same about our athletic department

Jackson Arnold made the right decision. State is a 3-9/4-8 type of team next season no matter who is their QB.

It’s hard to give a frick anymore. As much as I want to hate on Auburn or rivals ole miss, WE inflict more damage on ourselves than they could ever do. I hate everyone associated with the university from president down to the security guards. frick our incompetent administration, faculty, coaches, athletic department…..EVERYONE!

Your admin screwed up by not explaining Rev Share. Keith Carter has been out front explaining it. Your fan base was sold on having tons of NIL that doesn’t exist. I would be pissed too.

Then where are all these donations going? The administration has their dicks zipped up in the teeth of their zippers over what to do with the stadium. Meanwhile, Mike Leach dies and the program bottoms out while in the midst of 300 million in football facility upgrade planning. Mark Keenum is still stuck in a 2010 state of mind.

State has had over 12mm in contributions from 3 alumni over the last couple of months towards NIL and has raised 18 million during the same time frame. Revenue sharing is directly from the conference rights and not from the schools. Enjoy next season as you lose most of your starters while having one of the easiest schedules in the conference and as always underperform. State will make the playoffs before the Rebs, which will be years at a minimum for both.

To the schools athletic fund. Go look at the Twitter post when they announce them. They aren’t going to the collective. They are going to the school to help with Rev Share until the TV contracts go up. All ADs are talking about just surviving for a couple of years until the Disney/ESPN goes up and will cover the cost of Rev Share.

This is why the state fan base is so confused. No one in their admin has explained this. It’s sad that you have no idea about any of this.

I stopped caring in 2020 when we lost to Tennessee under Moorhead. My QOL has greatly increased.

Quality melt. 8/10. You're coming along nicely. I appreciate that you still haven't given up hope yet. Keep that fire burning, little man
