If they win tomorrow, they will have been very close to getting 2 of 3. Hell, we lost a series to Auburn last year and won the conference.

This thread has nothing to do with the rest of me year. It is solely for proving State that they cannot win a series against us after all the shite talking!

the meltdown on SPS is in full effect...

I'll tell you what's wrong with us people...
..us people was fed a steady diet of bullshite propaganda about what an elite, national contender this team would be. I could name names, but what's the use. No matter who was saying it, I had cheeks spread & was receiving the sweet sunshine up my arse. But now I see this team is a mere re-hashing of last year's team, except there is no Stratton available to bail them out. Bottom line is they look like shite. The are sleep-walking through this portion of the season. And all summer & fall, lengthy articles & comments were reassuring me they are elite competitors bent on proving something to the college baseball world. Right. And Ron Higgins will win a Pulitzer Prize for journalism.

Makes sense, a mentally weak coach would produce a mentally weak team.

They played such a tough non-conference schedule and started 17-0. I'm shocked.

Like they did in football too?

State would be in the 12-10 record range had they played a halfway decent schedule. They do this to themselves by playing shitty teams and "believing". It kinda gets ms erect

That's why I'm glad we always schedule the way we do.

We are 14-6, but have taken the newbies on a long road trip. Hopefully this pays off at the end of the year if we have travel. It certainly has in our last two trips to the CWS, as we had to win on the road.

State fans would rather start the season in any sport by playing a really shitty schedule. My source told me Cohen and Mullins were pissed when they couldn't schedule Starkville academy.

Stansbury did the same shite for years. Even scheduled around that lazy thug one year when he was ineligible for the first half of the season.
