No, but I will laugh as you will be paying a huge buyout again in four years.

Let me clue in state fans who just got their coach poached by a better school. Hiring the new HC quickly doesn't mean you got a quality HC. You found the person desperate enough to say yes quickly to use your school as a stepping stone, just like Mullen did.

Lol, yeah JOHN COHEN would go to LSU

I was just about to post this. First game Cohen attended at the Box would result in punches being thrown.

Yeah I don't think any of the other schools would have had an issue getting him. State just knows their limits unlike the majority of the SEC

Well, that is probably better than being used as a retirement plan.

Which is a bit ironic, considering if Moorhead is able to use MSU as a stepping stone, he's probably whipped A&M's tail for 3-4 years. You keep being you Aggies.

This is why State and Arkansas will likely end up with some of the best hires of the cycle. When you start off with unrealistic options and get 2-3 rejections in a row, things start snowballing into the toilet real quick

State got about a decade out of Mullen, really can't ask for much more than that in today's era.

You couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm pretty damn happy with A&M sports right now. Finally fired Sumlin, hiring a much better coach. Basketball is fielding what should be the best team we've ever had. Being an A&M sports fan is good business right now.

Yep. I know hiring coordinators to head coach is a major major crapshoot but at least you avoid the Ed O/Tenner type fiascos

ZERO problem with being a stepping stone again. To be a stepping stone to top 5/10 jobs, you have to win a bunch of games against teams like Texas A&M.

Keep laughing at MSU because of your inner feelings and bias.

We'll keep laughing at aTm based on tangible results

So all that led to taking a pot-shot at MSU?

OK
